LUXURY SAFARI SUITES & RATES IN ZULULAND

Nine luxury safari suites are set high on a ridge inside Manyoni Private Game Reserve, each looking out over Big 5 wilderness and the mountains beyond. Every suite at Leopard Mountain comes with a private plunge pool and an indoor-outdoor shower. Suites are built for the quiet hours between safaris as much as the drives themselves.

R5,100 – R12,000 per person per night, fully inclusive of two safaris daily, all meals and selected drinks. Check-in 14:00, check-out 10:00. Children aged 12 and over are welcome at the full adult rate. The conservation levy (R180 per person per night) is not included in the rates or the online booking total, and spa treatments are extra.

PRIVATE PLUNGE POOLS & INDOOR-OUTDOOR LIVING

Each of the lodge’s nine suites is built around indoor-outdoor living, anchored by a private plunge pool set on its own expansive deck. It is a genuine Big 5 lodge private plunge pool experience: cool off after a morning drive, or simply watch the bushveld light change colour from the water’s edge.

Suites also feature both an indoor and outdoor shower, light-filled interiors and broad, uninterrupted views. It is a secluded, self-contained sanctuary rather than a room that opens onto a shared corridor or garden. Every suite is identical in these inclusions. Only the outlook varies from suite to suite.

Every suite is positioned to maximise privacy and panoramic views across the wilderness, with natural textures, earthy tones and open spaces that keep the focus on the landscape rather than the room itself. Interiors are light and spacious, with refined finishes that let the surrounding bush do the talking.

It is a boutique safari lodge approach to design: the architecture does not compete with nature, it frames it.

Leopard Mountain sits on a ridge inside the 23,000-hectare Manyoni Private Game Reserve in northern KwaZulu-Natal, with suites looking out over the reserve and hills alike. The ridge-top setting and uncrowded sightings make for strong photographic conditions at golden hour, and clear night skies regularly allow informal stargazing from your own deck.

Days here follow the rhythm of the bush: coffee at first light before the morning safari, breakfast with a view, a picnic lunch, afternoon tea, then the afternoon safari and sundowners as the light fades, and dinner under the stars in the boma.

Leopard Mountain Safari Lodge, set inside Manyoni Private Game Reserve in KwaZulu-Natal, operates on a dynamic pricing model known as the Best Available Rate (BAR). This means that rates are adjusted in real time based on factors such as demand, occupancy, availability, and booking trends.

Our rates are quoted in South African Rands (ZAR) and are per person per night, based on two adults sharing a suite. The booking engine shows the total price for your suite and dates, excluding the conservation levy. Rates include accommodation as specified, VAT, and inclusions detailed within the selected package or room type. Flights and transfers to and from Leopard Mountain Safari Lodge are not included.

For international guests, the amount charged in your local currency will depend on the prevailing exchange rate and any fees applied by your bank or card provider at the time of payment.

Once a reservation has been confirmed, the quoted rate becomes fixed and serves as a binding agreement for the duration of the stay. As rates are adjusted according to availability and demand, we are unable to offer retroactive discounts, refunds, or price matching should rates change after a booking has been confirmed.

Booking early also offers the advantage of securing your preferred travel dates and suite category before availability becomes more limited.

Only by contributing to conservation can funds be raised to help save the reserve’s endangered species such as pangolin, cheetah, black rhino, white rhino, wild dog, ground hornbill, red-billed oxpecker, leopard tortoise and many more. This levy is essential in preserving the wildlife heritage of our reserve for future generations.

Leopard Mountain Safari Lodge reserves the right, without notice, to release any accommodation held where the required deposits and payments have not been timeously received. We also reserve the right to cancel your booking with a full refund within 30 days of your arrival date should exceptional circumstances arise.
